Since 2011, RSCM France has been running courses for students of the organ. Whereas our Organ Days exist to encourage students’ learning and open new possibilities to them in contact with internationally-renowned practitioners, the aim of these individually-tailored Courses is to enable players to gain confidence in their ability and to acquaint them with what is required for playing in a liturgical context.
Given by organist and conductor/composer, John Crothers, the lessons take place at the individual student’s convenience at the instrument in St George’s Anglican Church, Paris.
These Courses are open to any member of the RSCM, at whatever level of ability. Beginners are welcome, but should ideally have some keyboard knowledge.
Please get in touch with the Secretary at www.rscmfrance.org if you are interested in developing your organ-playing skills.
